The original 318 polysphere was internally cracked, so I needed a different engine for the truck. You can see me shoot holes in the old 318 block in another of my videos. Video duration: 125 seconds Shooting the cracked 318 wideblock with my 8mm Hakim rifle. 7.92x57mm 190 grain full metal jacket, corrosive ammunition. 2800 fps muzzel velocity. 10lbs 6oz empty. 24.5 inch barrel. 4 groove, 1 turn in 9 3/4 inches, right hand twist. Tilting bolt, direct gas operated semi automatic action. 10 round clip. Made inthe early-mid 1950's. Still a blast to shoot ! Video duration: 96 seconds Bought this for a caterham kit car I want to build someday. The truck had been rolled, and I got the whole thing for $50. I pulled the engine and drive train. It's been sitting for 3 or 4 years in the barn, and I decided to see if it still ran.
