Video duration: 121 seconds When the tornado warned bow echo arrived. Power gets knocked out across the street at :12...the 60mph winds hit about 1:00 knocking items off my shelf and sending rain flying through the window. Damage around this area was light compared to others with only downed tree limbs to 3" and a few signs being blown over. 2 brief tornadoes did occur in the area suburbs of Bollingbrook and Bloomingdale. Video duration: 116 seconds Decided to sample a core along hwy 166 near Arkansas City KS, a little west of Sedan. Brief pea size hail and sub severe winds. Nothing too special but near the end we ride the very distinct edge of the precip shaft which was kind of neat. Most likely the last chase of 2008 so we will take it.
