Here is KYW-TV 3 signing off on or about January 1, 1986. Recorded from Philadelphia on VHS SP-mode. I have a separate file uploaded with the KYW-TV slide and tone that followed later that same morning.
WJZ-13, another Group W station in Baltimore, used the same Star-Spangled Banner video. It may have been from the same film print (see WJZ sign-off Dec. 1981 YouTube video).

Debuting here is KCTS 9 Seattle's classy sign-off message from 1985 though this same sign-off was used by the station going back to the start of the 1980s. I'm not familiar with the piece of music that plays under the sign-off, but perhaps one of the classical music enthusiasts who view the clip will recognize it and comment.
