Ropes around the ankles and the pulley rope pulled tight whilst the alpaca is supported and layed down on its side stretched out. Alpacas can weight up to 200 kilos, a lot more than a sheep and a lot stronger, it isnt physically possible to properly shear an alpaca that isnt tied down. Related: alpaca, shearing |
